TTIP deal would remove people's rights to access basic human needs
by LEE WILLIAMS (these are excerpts, to read the whole article, which I hope you do, go to the link above)
TTIP is being carried out mostly in secret between EU and US.
This secrecy is on-going, with nearly all information coming from leaked documents!
We should be scared of TTIP, very scared indeed:
The NHS, jobs and other services are under threat as these are opened up to US companies.
Food safety and the environment are threatened as EU standards are brought closer to the less strict US regulations - 70 per cent of all processed foods sold in US supermarkets now contain genetically modified ingredients - the EU allows virtually no GM foods. US have far laxer restrictions on the use of pesticides, and use growth hormones in its beef which are restricted in Europe due to links to cancer. Also EU’s regulations are far tougher on potentially toxic substances, having to prove a substance is safe before it can be used; in the US any substance can be used until it is proven unsafe.
There will also be changes in Banking, Privacy, Democracy and Jobs – and probably cause unemployment as jobs switch to the US. Mr Williams continues...
I’m scared! I would vote against TTIP, except… hang on a minute… I can’t. Like you, I have no say whatsoever in whether TTIP goes through or not. All I can do is tell as many people about it as possible, as I hope, will you. We may be forced to accept an attack on democracy but we can at least fight against the conspiracy of silence.

THE BOOK I'M READING AT THE MOMENT IS CALLED 'WHEAT BELLY'
I'm reading it because I am intrigued with what has been done to wheat over the years. It no longer represents the grain that our grandparents knew! According to the book what we get today is the transformed product of genetic research.
Modern wheat is not real wheat at all and is making people sick and fat!
Read it and see what you think! (Available from your local library).

Look, no hands! Driverless buses get major test in Greek town, aim to revolutionize transport
There'll be no arguing with the driver on this bus: the rides are free and there's no driver anyway. Trikala, a rural town in northern Greece, has been chosen to test a driverless bus in real traffic conditions for the first time, part of a European project to revolutionize mass transport and wean its cities off oil dependency over the next 30 years.
ARE YOU ON A DRIVERLESS JOURNEY?
Or.....does it just feel like that?
But are we aware of our destiny?
Are we on the right path for our journey? Perhaps we should choose our driver and not leave it to chance - someone who knows the way?
Jesus said He was the Way! He also said He was the Truth too so we can trust Him! And the other claim He made was that He was the Life - meaning that if we choose the life that He planned for us we will be on the right road and reach the right destiny -which is our Dad, Father God!

NO - NOT THE OWL AND THE PUSSYCAT! IT IS THE OWL AND THE OIL RIG!

Bird was blown 100 miles out into the North Sea
A Liverpool oil rig worker described how he helped rescue an exhausted owl which had flown more than 100 miles to a floating North Sea platform.
The bird crash-landed on the Voyager Spirit off-shore oil rig last week and was looked after by crew members who found it.
The short-eared owl - nicknamed “Olly” - was then flown back to land with departing workers and taken to the Scottish SPCA wildlife rescue centre in Fishcross, Alloa, Clackmannanshire, where he will be cared for until he is fit to return to the skies.
Centre manager Colin Seddon said: “The owl is doing great after his lengthy flight.
