In life we all have to make choices - cat’s
or wild birds is one of them for us. BUT…..
the neighbouring cats didn’t seem to understand this!
So we put up this cat scarer and it happily
bleeped all day and no cats came ....... success we thought!
However…………..
the next morning, on the coconut mat on the front doorstep we found
this!!!
(Sorry if the photo offends!)
Is this the 'cat's revenge'?
(There are high fences and gates around
the garden - who else could it be?)

Keeping a cat theme, this is a lovely story:
Syrian Refugee Carries Kitten Across The Sea To Greece
The cat's name is Zaytouna, Arabic for “olive.”
According to reports, the unidentified man carried
the young cat from his homeland across the Mediterranean Sea to Lesbos in
Greece.
From something annoying
but funny, to something sweet, to something spectacular – did you see the blood
moon?

There’s a lot of speculation
about these blood moons and ‘end times’ prophecies. I’m not sure what they are
saying but I know my Bible says that only Father God knows when Jesus will
return. My job, as I see it, is to create peace in my ‘patch’ of the world – write
it, speak it, do what I can do to help others find it! I am so pleased Jesus says I can have peace –
not as the world knows – but a special peace ‘cos I know Him. It’s good to know
Him, do you? (John 14.27)
And for something else spectacular............
Glacier covered with
blankets to reduce summer ice-melt!
People living near the Rhone glacier in the central Alps of Switzerland have come up with a striking tactic to counter the effects of climate change. Each summer the glacier is protected by blankets to keep ice melt to a minimum, the European Pressphoto Agency reports.
Like other glaciers in the Alps, the Rhone has retreated dramatically in the past 150 years, according to research cited by the Earth Institute at Columbia University.
Each year, a tunnel is carved into the ice to enable visitors to walk inside the glacier, which is the source of the Rhone River.
