OH NO! REPLACING BEES WITH FLYING ROBOTS!

beephilippines.info
Have you heard? - our honey bees are in trouble again! Our government it seems are bringing back pesticides that will about kill them off, and our butterflies and other flying things. Have a look at the link below and sign the petition please - sometimes this is all we can do, but by standing together we can make a difference!
A lack of honey bees is causing a crisis in agriculture with scientists confirming that there are not enough bees to pollinate crops. Simon Potts of the Daily Sheeple said “We face a catastrophe in future years unless we act now, wild pollinators need greater protection. They are the unsung heroes of the countryside, providing a critical link in the food chain for humans and doing work for free that would otherwise cost British farmers £1.8b to replace. We need a proper strategy across Europe to conserve wild bees and pollinators – or we risk big financial losses to the farming sector and a potential food security crisis.”

Issues like this open the door for companies like Monsanto to move forward in their research, modifying crops and developing self-pollinating varieties of grains to offset the bee loses.

What about this then! Already designed to do the job of the bees!

This Robotic Bee Just Took Flight, To Pollinate Crops And (Maybe) Spy On You!

The quarter-sized RoboBee looks like a fly, but it was designed to save us from colony collapse disorder. If the bees die, we have a robot backup!
Sign the petition and let's keep the bees!
HERE'S ANOTHER LIVE OR DIE SITUATION AND ANOTHER ONE FOR YOU TO GET INVOLVED WITH
- IF YOU WILL!

Legalising assisted suicide sends the message that, if you are terminally ill, suicide is something
that you might consider. We are a country which responds to terminal ilIness with care
and compassion, not by enabling people to commit suicide.
Let's keep it that way.
Rising death rates and peopIe ending their lives feeling a burden are just two of the negative trends. Most doctors don't want to be licensed to prescribe lethal drugs. The British Medical Association, Royal Colleges of GPs and Physicians, palliative care doctors, disabled people's organisations and hospices all oppose a change in the law.

HERE'S SOME GOOD NEWS ABOUT SOME GOOD PEOPLE!

Bride And Groom Spend Their Wedding Day Feeding 4,000 Syrian Refugees Instead Of Wedding Guests

A Turkish bride and groom decided to share their joy on their wedding day by inviting 4,000 Syrian refugees to eat with them and celebrate in the southern Turkish city of Kilis.

Fethullah Zümcüoğlu and Esra Polat, who got married in a province near the Syrian border, invited refugees who have fled the country since the civil war began four years ago.
The groom's father said he was glad that the couple began their life together "with such a selfless action."
FOOD WASTE!!!!! Does this seem OK now – more people and supermarkets coming on board and the very ‘not-good-stuff’ provides methane to run equipment?

The Junk Food Cafes are popping up everywhere and feeding loads of people.
Well -----that’s this country and a bit of Europe. What about the rest of the world – how do we feed them?
The Come Dine With Me charity soup lunches are still working well and we send our money to Mombasa, Education for Life feeding programme, 700 children a day, and a medical centre in the Gambia - but this is only a drop in the ocean financially.

We can sign another petition perhaps – try not to be wasteful ourselves
 – not enough though!

VIEW FROM COSTA’S!

All the world’s problems fade away as I sit and enjoy my coffee!

The news is scary, Calais, the boat refugees – ‘cos of war, ‘cos of bad leadership, they are stateless – no money, no home, no food, no where to go and worse, no hope!

Who knows what to do? Am I sitting on a bomb?

What do I know of what they’re going through? I do care, but later I will get on with my life and forget them! Until I see the news again! What about you? Do you have any thoughts?
Young people, could be my grandson, running for their lives to escape persecution – is it a ‘move over Britain’ or will we sink? What would you do?

One doesn’t want to be an ostrich, head in the sand, but it helps cope with all the negative info we receive!

Those that believe God is still in control and can change these things if we ask Him might like this quote based on Matthew 13.58 where it says that Jesus didn’t do many miracles in Nazareth ‘cos of the people’s unbelief! Maybe if we had more faith, then God will use more power!

“Jesus is not limited by people’s faith (or lack of it), but there does seem to be a strong connection between faith and God’s power actively at work.
Christians who pray discover answers to prayer.
Churches who worship Christ find Christ active in their fellowship.
Where sceptics and atheists hold court, God seldom intervenes.
God seems to like the role of invited guest over that of party crasher.
So, let faith grow, pray all the time, and expect to see God at work in and around you“.
