Well – don’t rush there, it’s empty until I figure out what to do!
Thanks for so many people wanting to be my friend!
Like Twitter it's another ‘techno’ hurdle - but I am encouraged that –
‘Failure is only a temporary change in direction to set you straight for your next success. Only those who dare to fail greatly, can ever achieve greatly' - and I dare!
(don't know where this came from)
GOOD NEWS SPOT!
Young Supermarket Employee Leaves His Register To Walk Senior Customer Home
"Need to share this, whilst working earlier we watched this lovely lad walking this little old man home. He wasn't very agile, nor fast but Christian walked with him ever so patiently and slowly, chatted along with him and carried his bag for him. It was a lovely thing to witness and they seemed to be having a good chit-chat along their way. High 5 to Aldi for letting him do this and high 5 to Christian from Aldi for his selfless, thoughtful and caring gesture! I desperately want this lad to get some kind of recognition from his workplace so if this gave you a little more faith in mankind PLEASE share! Good people still exist."

FUND RAISING,
EATING, & FRIENDS! What a great combination! The Come dine with me below
the line has done just that for some of us. We are supposed to provide a meal
for 33p per person but we’ve decided to cheat and enjoy whatever the hostess decides
to create. The only restriction is a donation, no less than £3.
This whole campaign made me realise how wasteful I am - I don't mealplan! On the '£1 a day' week I planned what to eat, worked out where I could buy the cheapest ingredients and searched for the healthiest recipes - then had money to give to the Feeding Programme of Education for Life - they feed 650 children a day in Mombasa, Kenya.
THERE IS A 'FEEL GOOD' FACTOR ABOUT GIVING? Not always appreciated.........

"Forgiveness is how many tragedies end, with a victim or family of a victim deciding to forgive as a way of taking back the power that was stripped away. It is a self-healing method, fueled by faith. But the power of forgiveness is liberating to the forgiver. As he forgives, the reflection is on his God, who inclined forgiveness to him or her through Christ Jesus, and so forgiveness becomes the lifeline of the believer’s existence,” said Bishop Michael Forney
Instead of dividing the community with hate, many across the nation joined with Charleston in support. Thousands linked hands to form a "Bridge of Peace" as a sign of solidarity when Mother Emanuel church reopened for the first time after the deadly shootings.

FARESHARE SAY: We have been completely overwhelmed by everyone’s generosity: together we have collected enough food for 4.7 million meals for people in need, making this the best Neighbourhood Food Collection to date!
From all our fantastic volunteers who engaged with shoppers and to the many generous customers across the UK who donated when so many go without and to Tesco who topped up all donations by 30%, 4.7 million thanks!

ANOTHER FORM OF
WASTE, MUCH MORE SERIOUS, IS THE WASTE OF HUMAN LIFE WHEN SOMEONE DECIDES TO
MASSACRE A GROUP OF CHRISTIANS AT A BIBLE STUDY
BUT
an act of hatred turns into an outpouring of love as these wonderful Christians choose to forgive!"Forgiveness is how many tragedies end, with a victim or family of a victim deciding to forgive as a way of taking back the power that was stripped away. It is a self-healing method, fueled by faith. But the power of forgiveness is liberating to the forgiver. This then is 'the hug' for July - when one human being comforts another!
Thank you Mother Emanuel Church for such an example!
